UNM Housing Notice: Heating Activation

Now that temperatures are low at night, UNM Housing Facilities Management crews will be converting all residence halls to heat and deactivating the air conditioning. This means that the buildings will be primarily configured to heat only, and cool air will not come through the HVAC system. For our Resident Lobos who prefer cooler temperatures, you will still be welcome to open your windows to circulate cooler fall and winter air from outside. If you plan to be absent for an extended period (more than a day), please remember to close your windows while you are gone.
