2017 Summer Intern Housing Program

UNM Residence Life and Student Housing is proud to offer safe, affordable, and convenient furnished housing to students with summer internships directly linked to their academic goals. Our contracts are flexible and include only the weeks needed. Interns provide their own dishes, bed/bath linens, and other personal items. 2017 program dates are from May 20 to August 6, 2017.  Additional limited space is available before and after these dates through our academic year short-term housing program. Convenient Apartment Living

We provide single accommodations (private bedrooms) in shared apartment‐style housing within our two on-campus apartment complexes. Floorplans include 6-bedroom/2-bath or 4-bedroom/1-bath apartments, each with a fully furnished living room, dining area, full kitchen, and storage room. Learn more about our SRC and RVA apartments.

Amenities and Pricing

  • Weekly leases at $160.00 per week (4 week minimum), including utilities, Wi-Fi, and Cable TV access 
  • Fully furnished

  • Track, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts

Call or email to inquire about availability and request an application for academic year short-term housing.

Paying for Summer Housing

Payment options include credit/debit card (preferred method), check or money order. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an email with an invoice and payment instructions. Complete your payment according to your instructions. Once your payment is received, your room will be reserved. Payment plans are available beginning Summer 2017. Plans are limited and approved individually, based on need. For more information or to request a payment plan, contact us at 505-277-2660 or lodging@unm.edu.
