Winter/Summer Interim Housing Options

Summer Session 2018

Taking a summer class? Need housing for the entire summer? You can live on campus! Our summer options are perfect for students taking courses over the summer, and even those who don't. Yes, even if you don’t plan to take classes this summer but have registered for a fall housing contract you can live on campus. We offer apartment-style living in Redondo Village Apartments (RVA) with the same great amenities you are used to during the regular terms.

Interim Housing

Need housing between academic sessions? We offer interim housing for residents with Spring/Summer and/or Summer/Fall contracts:

Interim Session 1

May 12-May 30          Cost: $190 (Spring/Summer Contracts required)

Interim Session 2

July 28-Aug. 10        Cost: $160 (Summer/Fall Contracts required)

Current Residents (Spring 2018)

  • No application fee required for residents who have renewed for fall 2018.
  • Residents with a full 13-week summer contract are not required to be enrolled in summer classes.
  • Current residents with a fall renewal are eligible for any contract term listed above.

New Residents (No Spring Contract)

  • $50 non-refundable application fee due with your completed summer application. If a $50 application fee has been paid for your fall 2018 contract, no fee is required for summer.
  • You must be enrolled in a summer class throughout your time in residence.
  • New residents are eligible for four-week and eight-week sessions.

Winter Interim Housing

Winter Break for the 2018-2019 Academic Year is Dec. 15, 2018- Jan. 14, 2019.

Why do the traditional halls close during the winter break?

Heating large buildings can be very expensive! Since so many students leave during the break it is cost-effective and energy efficient to shut down the traditional halls during the break. Residents who live in our traditional housing, however, can sign an additional contract for the winter break and stay in our apartment-style halls.

Residents who live in our apartment-style halls during the regular semester are not required to leave during winter break. Information regarding our winter housing contract will be available in the fall 2018.
