Move-In Days

All check-in desks will be open from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm beginning Tuesday, August 18, 2009.  All students must be officially checked-in by Monday, August 24th at 7:00 PM to avoid cancellation of contract and being assessed a no-show fee. Please review our Fall Check-In page for more details.

You may move into your residence hall as early as the Tuesday prior to when Fall classes begin (or Thursday prior to when Spring classes start). Hand carts and dollies will be available. First you go directly to your assigned front desk to pick-up your room keys and receive further instructions concerning your mailbox key.

By signing a UNM housing contract, you agree to follow all national, state and local laws, as well as University regulations and Residence Hall Policies. You are responsible for the information in the Community Living Guide that you'll receive when you check in - SO make sure to READ it.  If you have any questions about hall policies, please contact the Residence Life Office or call (505) 277-8230.

For PARKING PERMITS please visit housing.unm.edu AFTER JULY 6th for details on how to get your 2009/2010 PARKING PERMIT.

No parking tickets are issued during move-in week.  However, students must not park in illegal spots. Lots D, R, E, and S are the only lots available for student parking. Some parking spots near Residence Halls will be available to students for a limited amount of time for un-loading purposes only.  Everyone must have a permit displayed on their vehicles by Monday, August 24th.  Parking Permits purchased prior to start of contract, will be in their assigned SRC mailboxes as of August 18th.
