Meet the Housing Ambassador Team:

Hello there, my name is Destry Palmer! I am a senior and double majoring in Marketing & Operations Management. As a first-generation college student, I have learned a lot during my stay here at UNM. In my free time, you can typically find me gaming and hanging out with my cats, Frankie & Winnie. I grew up in a small farm-town in New Mexico, but I have loved the 6 years I’ve spent living in the big city of Albuquerque. My interests include woodworking, reading, and film. I’ve had a hectic college career, and I look forward to sharing my unique experiences with anyone who may benefit.

I’m a West Coast-born, Southwest-raised hybrid—born in the buzz of Los Angeles but grew up under the endless skies and desert sunsets of Las Cruces. Basically, I traded traffic for tumbleweeds and never looked back (except for the food).

I am currently majoring in pharmaceutical sciences, because mixing chemicals legally sounded better than accidentally setting off the fire alarm during baking experiments (again). When I’m not learning how to save lives with science, you can catch me hopping on flights, binge-watching shows like it’s a sport, or pretending to be on the Great British Bake Off in my own kitchen. Bonus points if I’m crocheting while doing any of the above. Yes, multitasking is my superpower.

Catch me in the lab, the kitchen, or leading a tour—either way, I’m always up to something.

Hi, my name is Mack and I am a junior at UNM majoring in Art Studio and minoring in Math! I'm a not born but raised New Mexican and I lived in Santa Fe for 17 years before coming to Albuquerque for college. I hope to become a secondary education teacher in one of my areas of study once I graduate, but I intend to keep pursuing my many interests and hobbies regardless of my career path after college.

Hi! My name is Hailey! I’m from Fort Worth, Texas, and currently double majoring in Economics & Communications pre-law. I enjoy dancing, being with friends, and I’m so excited to be a student housing ambassador for UNM. Go lobos!

Hi! My name is Lily and I am studying Biology and Spanish here at UNM! I am originally from Colorado but I have family in New Mexico and I've established a second home here. I love cats, journaling, science, listening to music, and long walks!

Where should I park?

The University of New Mexico offers two visitor parking options:
The most common is Cornell Parking Structure, located across from Popejoy Hall. Another option is the metered parking on Redondo Road at Campus Blvd.
