Fall 2023 Parking Permit Info (UPDATE)

As you plan to park your vehicles on UNM's Albuquerque campuses during the Academic Year 2023-24 (AY23-24), UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) wants to provide you with essential information regarding campus resident parking permits:
First and foremost, if you plan to park your vehicle on UNM’s Albuquerque campuses during the upcoming academic year, you must purchase a parking permit from UNM PATS or utilize hourly parking options.
Parking permits are in high demand and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Permits sell out quickly, and once a zone reaches its capacity, no more permits will be available for that zone.
Parking Permit Options:
- R-lot and S (Lomas) permits are completely sold out. T-lot and Y (Yale) permits will be available for campus residents to purchase online as 10:30 a.m. on August 3rd. These permits are only available after they enroll in classes for the Fall semester. NSO Students are not eligible to purchase a permit until after they complete their orientation. However, we anticipate these permits to sell out quickly this year, so we highly recommend purchasing yours without delay. Secure your permit now to ensure parking availability throughout the academic year.
How to Purchase Your Permit:
To secure your parking permit, please have the following information and requirements ready:
- LoboCard: Required for in-person purchases
- UNM NetID and Password: Needed for online purchases
- Vehicle make, model, and color
- Vehicle License Plate Number
- Payment Method: We accept Visa, Discover, American Express, MasterCard, UNM Bursar's transfer, check, or cash*. (*Cash or check payments are only accepted for in-person purchases)
