Approved Advance Arrival for Fall 2025

What is Approved Advanced Arrival?
Approved Advanced Arrival is an early move-in option (August 8-9, 2025) for UNM Housing residents who are participating in approved university programs or groups that require them to arrive on campus prior to the standard move-in period (August 14-16, 2025). Students approved for early move-in will be assessed a fee of $175, which will be placed on their student account, for their participation in the Advanced Arrival program.

Special Circumstance Requests
Students who are not part of one of the designated groups but have a special circumstance, may request an Advanced Arrival application for individual review. Approval is not guaranteed and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Application Timeline

• Opens: June 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM
• Closes: July 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM
