 We’re excited to share that bathroom renovations will soon begin in Laguna & DeVargas (LDV)! These updates are part of our ongoing efforts to improve your living experience.

Project Timeline: 

  • The bathroom renovation project will begin in Summer 2026 and will continue throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. 

What to expect: 

  • Construction will begin in DeVargas House II and DeVargas House III, where bathroom renovations will take place first. 
  • While living in LDV you may notice noise, construction crews, and temporary impacts in these areas. We are tasking these teams to work during the daytime hours. 

Relocation Plan: 

  • Once DV House II and III are completed, residents from another Laguna or DeVargas house will be temporarily relocated into those newly renovated spaces. 
  • To complete renovations across the community as efficiently as possible, all residents in LDV should be prepared to relocate once during this process. 

Support During Moves: 

  • We will provide advance notice with specific timelines and instructions before any move. 
  • Moving bins and support will be available to assist you. 
  • Our team will work to make this process as smooth and organized as possible. 

Additional Information: 

  • There may be temporary noise, dust, or limited access to certain areas during construction. 
  • Updated communication will be shared regularly so you know what to expect.
