Rates and Payment

UNM Residence Life & Student Housing offers a variety of features and price points to fit your living style. The cost of your housing will depend on the type of hall and whether you choose a single or double occupancy room. The chart below shows a semester cost breakdown as well as the total contract rate for the academic year.

Amenities included in your rate plan at no additional cost include furnishings, laundry facilities, Wif-Fi Internet, all utilities, maintenance and custodial services for all public areas, and membership in the Residence Hall Association.

Payment

Housing charges are billed in two convenient semester charges placed on your Bursar’s Account at the beginning of each semester. Please note that Lobo Rainforest includes a summer term and summer billing charge. You may arrange a payment plan that best fits your individual need through the Bursar’s Office. Learn more information here on how to arrange a payment plan through the Bursar's Office.

Cancellation

Fees may be applied for canceling your contract. Please carefully read your contract agreement before submitting. Please visit our cancellation page for more information on deadlines and fees for canceling your contract.

NOTE: Residents who live in apartment style housing are not required to move out during winter intersession.

Lobo Rainforest is a 12-month housing assignment which will be charged the semester rate ($5,225) in the fall and again in the spring.
